Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. We wanted to provide some updates from Principal Burkholder and the board.

Enrollment is at 730 (it was about 743 in 2019). 6th grade has 9 core academic teachers, and Hamilton likely will not get an additional allocation. 7th and 8th have 10 core academic teachers.

Buses should leave school by 4:27 pm. Please remind your students to take their assigned bus, to avoid overcrowding. Buses should arrive at school at 9:02, to allow for school breakfast. Students can visit the office to get a Metro bus pas, which can be used to take a Metro bus to school.

Our new playground is estimated to be complete in October! Stay tuned!
