Parent/Guardian Teacher conferences are Nov 21. PTO voted to approve funding to provide dinner for teachers.
Forming GRIT group as a way to support students that feel disconnected from school
Expanding opportunities beyond the classroom (tying in with the theme of the year) that students are interested in
2. Media Inquiry from Spectrum News
moving forward with a video interview to address the late start/dismissal times and the impacts it has on Hamilton Students along with a general reaction from parents
3. 6th grade t-shirts and spirit wear
PTO will provide this year. Working to secure vendor, gathering sizes and quantity of shirts needed. Will take approx. 2 weeks to receive after placing order
Spirit wear is a nice feature to offer families but is not very popular. Need to decide on dates if offered this year.
4. Teacher funding requests and asks
Health office funding for leggings, joggers, sweatshirts and t-shirts. *Add to Hamilton Hawks newsletter to request gently used clothing and/or monetary contributions
5. PTO Headlines for Hamilton Hawks Newsletter (10/11/24)
Health office needs gently used leggings, joggers, sweatshirts and socks of all sizes. Drop off at Welcome Center. Monetary donations are also welcomed to support this ongoing effort
PTO is purchasing 6th grade t-shirts this year. Please consider donating to help cover the cost
PTO is providing dinner for Fall conferences on Nov 21. Consider bringing dessert or donate to help cover costs using this PayPal link
